A little workshop
“ You have to get your hands dirty, if you want to make nice shoes” this is what our grandfather, Adolfo Carli, used to say. In 1937, he was the cobbler in the our coutryside, the one who founded a little workshop able to supply just the inhabitants of Monsummano Terme, a small town placed in heart of the Tuscany region, in Italy.
The Factory
As time went on, the Monsummano area evolved into one of the main footwear district in Italy and, following the same way, the small workshop became a real factory, driven by passion and by the manufacturing ability shown by all Carli family.
Today
After more than 80 years, “Carli 1937” represents the state of the art in terms of handcrafted men’s and ladies’ shoes 100% made in Tuscany. Here the third generation of the family members care about all the strategic process: from the leather selection to the handfinishing of every single shoe. The whole assisted by a well-trained staff.
